Rebuild After Kitchen Fire
Fires can cause a lot more damage than just burning of items, soot or smoke. Water damage and mold damage are secondary effects of a fire. Large amounts of water are needed to put out a fire. No matter the area in which the fire occurs and water is used, it is likely that water will make its way into the walls, floor, and other contents in the area. If allowed to sit without proper drying, mold will grow. After a kitchen fire in this Deerfield Beach home, the owners suspected mold was present in the home. Remediation and rebuild of the drywall was required.
